New Opening Frankfurt Flagship Store

Molteni&C is further marking its presence in the European design scene with the grand opening of its latest Flagship Store in Frankfurt, Germany. This new venture underscores the brand's rapid growth and commitment to providing top-tier furnishings to the European market.

This milestone achievement is made possible through a collaboration with Braum, a family-owned business with a rich legacy dating back to 1903 in Germany’s Bad Homburg area. Having worked closely with Molteni&C for more than two decades, Marcus Braum celebrates the enduring partnership with the inauguration of this monobrand Flagship Store.

Strategically located within the exclusive Taunusturm complex, this new store spans an impressive 450 square meters across two levels. Its prime address in the heart of Frankfurt's bustling financial district places it in the city’s dynamic center with easy access to a wealth of cultural attractions. The Taunusturm complex, designed by the esteemed architectural firm Gruber + Kleine-Kraneburg, stands proudly at the corner of Neue Mainzer Str. and Taunustor, near the famous Goethe-Platz, known for its luxury brand presence.

The Flagship Store is designed to be a welcoming and harmonious space, with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the interior with natural light. This setting serves as the ideal backdrop for Molteni&C's collaborations with contemporary design luminaries such as Creative Director Vincent Van Duysen, Jean Nouvel, Foster + Partners, Ron Gilad, Yabu Pushelberg, and Herzog & de Meuron. Iconic pieces by Gio Ponti and others from the Heritage Collection are also showcased.

Upon entering the store, visitors are greeted by a dining area that features the Blevio table, designed by Ignazio Gardella in 1930 and part of the Heritage Collection since 2022, paired with Janet chairs by Vincent Van Duysen. A small patio adds a touch of nature to the environment, leading to a living display with various pieces from the Creative Director's work, including the Cleo sofa, Louisa coffee table, Yoell armchair, and Living Box sideboard, all elegantly complemented by the Telaro rug by Marta Ferri.

The second floor of the store welcomes guests with the elegance of super white marble and the warmth of sunrise oak, offering a captivating composition of the Intersection kitchen by Van Duysen and Tivalì 2.0 by Dante Bonuccelli. The journey continues with the Mateo table, designed by Van Duysen, paired with Devon chairs by Rodolfo Dordoni. The bedtime area features the Aldgate bed by Dordoni, the Cinnamon armchair by Naoto Fukasawa, and the Gliss Master wardrobe system that turns the walk-in closet into a new world of possibilities.
